In the second quarter of 2024, the pirate-themed gaming arena on Android saw various trends in user engagement and revenue, with data sourced from Sensor Tower. Here's a look at how the top five pirate games performed in the US market.

Sea of Conquest: Pirate War, published by FunPlus International, showed fluctuating revenue, peaking at $1.7M in the first week of April and then dipping to around $1.2M towards the end of June. Downloads began at 425K in the first week of April, reaching a high of 510K mid-April before gradually descending to 270K by late June. Weekly active users consistently grew, starting at 3.6M and climbing to 4.2M by the end of the quarter.

JOYCITY Corp's Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW had a modest revenue trend, starting at $138K and experiencing a notable rise to $209K in early June, before settling at $154K by the quarter's end. Downloads were low, with the highest at 21K twice in May and a spike to 20K in the last week of June. Active users saw a decline from 87K to 67K over the quarter.

Lord of Seas: Survival&Conquer from Atlas Studio had no revenue reported until mid-June, where it briefly hit $69K, followed by a dip back to zero. Downloads were minimal throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 23K in mid-June. Weekly active users were only reported in June, peaking at 31K before dropping to zero.

Playtika's Pirate Kings™️ had no data reported for downloads or weekly active users, and revenue was only noted in the first week of April at $41K and late April at $33K.

Lastly, BELKA GAMES' Roger That: Merge Adventure! presented no revenue for most of the quarter, with a small uptick in mid-May at $13K, and then $14K and $16K in the last two weeks of June. Downloads started at 19K in the first week of April, saw a surge to 64K in mid-May, but dropped to zero by the end of June. Active users started at 133K, peaked at 172K in late May, and ended the quarter at 101K.
